In 2022, Humaira Fayazi and Sofie Dieu worked for the first time together on a collaborative project called Afghan Diaspora. With multicultural women of the City of Casey, they explored through the making of clay masks what it means to be an Afghan woman refugee. They organised a series of 8 workshops, the clay artworks were then performed by Humaira and photographed by Sofie. These works were exhibited in November 2022 at the Track Gallery in Mount Waverley.
