À propos de l'événement

CONTENT

In this unusual floral workshop, you will develop your own visual lexicon to create your personal vision of Australian native flowers.

You will be introduced to ink painting to create some stunning backgrounds on which you will later stamp and collage floral patterns you have created yourself. You will  discover how to build a personal way of rendering flowers through the use of white and black ink as well as gold leaf.

By the end of the 6 hours workshop you will have produced a series of A4, A3 or even A2 paintings, on watercolour paper and textured paper with your own floral art

PARTICIPANTS MUST BRING

INK PAINTING

- A4 and A3 watercolour paper (or larger if you prefer working "big")

- A4 or A3 cartridge or photocopy paper sheets

- 1 sheet of tissu/wrapping paper (white colour preferably, but you might want to play with colours too?)

- 2x small and pointy brushes (1 for black ink, 1 for white ink), 1 medium flat brush (to cover the surface with ink easily), 2 large flat brushes (1 for water, 1 for glue)

- liquid PVA white craft glue (25ml) (no stick glue, no transparent craft liquid glue either)

- apron, rags, absorbant towel paper, newspaper to protect the table

- a few large containers for water and glue (recycled take away plastic containers), 2 x bottle lids (recipients for ink should be small)
